HELPFUL ANSWERS

Good to know.
Before you go.

The app, the audio and the possibilities. Here are the details.

What is Vocal Remover?

Vocal Remover: Music Separator is an app by Vividup FZE for iPhone and iPad. It uses AI to separate vocals and instruments, with tools for mixing stems, changing pitch and tempo, and displaying synced lyrics.

Can I remove vocals from a song?

Yes. Import a supported audio file into the app, separate the track, then turn down the vocal stem. Export the instrumental or your custom mix. Results depend on the recording and arrangement.

Can I keep the vocals and remove the music?

Yes. Keep the vocal stem audible and turn down the instrumental stems. This produces an isolated vocal track for listening, practice or projects where you have permission to use the recording.

Which instruments can I separate?

The app supports separation into vocals, drums, bass, piano, guitar and other sounds. The available split options and controls are shown in the app.

Is the app free?

The app is free to download and includes in-app purchases. Feature access, limits and subscription offers are shown in the app. Check the App Store and the purchase screen for current prices in your region.

Does it work in my browser?

Music separation takes place through the app. This website explains the features and lets you listen to a sample; it does not accept or process your music files.

Which file formats can I use?

Supported audio formats include MP3, M4A, WAV and FLAC. The app also provides import options for Files, the music library and Camera Roll. Export choices depend on the selected feature and plan.

Can I change pitch and tempo?

Yes. Use the pitch control to change the key and the BPM control to adjust the tempo. These tools help you practise a passage more slowly or adapt a song to your vocal range.

Will the result sound exactly like a studio stem?

AI separation estimates the parts in a finished mix. Reverb, overlapping instruments and compressed recordings can leave audible artefacts. Listen to the result before using it in a performance or production.

Where can I read about privacy?

The publisher’s privacy policy explains data handling. See vividup.tech/privacy-policy/ for the current policy. Contact the publisher for questions about audio retention or processing that the policy does not answer.

Can I use any song commercially?

Separating a track does not grant new rights to it. Use recordings you own or have permission to use, and check the permissions needed for your intended project.

How do I manage a subscription?

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are managed in your Apple account. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. For current offers and renewal details, check the purchase screen in the app.
